Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has reignited his long-standing feud with Jon Jones, claiming that the UFC light heavyweight champion is hesitant to face him in the Octagon.

In a recent statement, Ngannou expressed his desire to fight Jones, but believes that the UFC’s golden boy needs permission from his boss, Dana White, before accepting the challenge.

“Look, I’d love to fight Jon Jones,” Ngannou said. “But he’s got a boss to answer to. First, he needs Dana’s permission to step into the cage with me. Dana would never allow it because he knows I’d knock his golden boy out cold.”

Ngannou’s comments are likely to spark a heated response from Jones and the UFC, who have long been at odds with the Cameroonian heavyweight.

The two fighters have been engaged in a war of words for several years, with Ngannou repeatedly calling out Jones for a fight.

While the UFC has yet to comment on the possibility of a Ngannou-Jones fight, it’s clear that the Cameroonian heavyweight is eager to prove himself against one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.

Will Dana White and the UFC finally give Ngannou the opportunity to face Jones in the Octagon? Only time will tell.
