The Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Honourable Barbara Rwodzi was in Gokwe South on Wednesday where she is engaging with the tourism business community.

The meeting was expected  to strengthen relations between government and the private sector in an effort to work towards the attainment of a 5 billion dollar tourism economy by 2025.

Gokwe South is endowed with Heritage & Cultural Sites, Wildlife, Chirisa Safari, Gandavaroyi Gorge, Dzoritsvo Falls, Hliziyana Falls, Sengwa Gorge and the magnificent Bopoma Falls.

The Deputy Minister is on a tour of the Midlands Province. The tour will be comprised of an Environment and Tourism Indaba to be held in Gweru tomorrow, 21 April 2022.
