The African Christian Council International(ACCI) Grant President, Arch-Bishop Professor Johanes Ndanga last week 27 April 2023 ordained Bishop Simbarashe Nzombe of Kuwadzana KweMweya Apostolic Church in Kadoma, Zimbabwe.

The Ordination Ceremony took place at Government Farm, approximately 50 Kilometers away from Kadoma Town.

The occasion follows the official launch of ACCI Zimbabwe Chapter in the previous month by His Excellency Dr. Emerson D. Mnangagwa where 12 Bishops were ordained.

ACCI is the first International Christian Board to be established in Africa and its branches are spread across the globe.

Bishop Nzombe’s Ordination Ceremony was done inline with the Mosaic Tradition. The process included laying of hands and anointing of head and hands.

Speaking after the Ceremony, ACCI Grant President Archbishop Professor Ndanga said the Ordination of Bishop Nzombe was important to the church both for it’s accreditation and licensing.

“Today we ordained Bishop Simbarashe Nzombe of Kuwadzana KweMweya Church. This is a resemblance to the fact that his Church is now recognized by the community and the Government. The accreditation and licensing is consistent with national laws and ACCI Board of Governors,” said Archbishop Ndanga.

Bishop Nzombe expressed his happiness after being conferred with Accreditation and Licensing Certificates.

“We have been waiting for this day. From today going forward, we are now a new church. I would like to thank ACCI Grant President Archbishop Professor Ndanga for his great leadership in paving way for my ordination and accreditation of our church.”
