Tucked away in the heart of Zimbabwe, Quinton Senior School stands tall as a shining example of academic excellence. This esteemed institution recently hosted a prestigious prize-giving day ceremony, marking the launch of its state-of-the-art laboratories. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Torerai Moyo, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry.
As the Minister walked through the school’s gates, he was struck by the sheer magnificence of the institution. “I thought it was just an ordinary school,” he confessed, “but what I witnessed was truly remarkable.” The school’s commitment to providing top-notch education was evident in every aspect, from its well-equipped laboratories to its highly qualified staff.
The launch of the laboratories was a highlight of the event, with 12 Lower 6 students showcasing their innovative robotic inventions. The Minister was impressed by the learners’ creativity and pledged to offer support for their future endeavors. Quinton Group’s chief executive, Tafadzwa Chikasha, emphasized the school’s goal of providing learners with a world-class education that rivals any institution globally.
Quinton Senior School’s success can be attributed to its strong Christian values, which foster a sense of discipline and responsibility among learners. The school’s administration foyer is a testament to its commitment to excellence, leaving parents and visitors in awe.
As the school continues to soar to new heights, it remains inspired by the government’s vision for education. By complementing the government’s efforts, Quinton Senior School is playing a vital role in shaping the minds of future generations.
In the words of Minister Moyo, “We have some teachers who became teachers by accident. Here, we have teachers who chose the profession by design.” This sentiment encapsulates the essence of Quinton Senior School – a beacon of excellence that is redefining the education landscape in Zimbabwe.
