Estate Agents Council(EAC) has warned the public against dealing with bogus companies purporting to be in the real estate industry.
This comes amid the increase of a number unregistered companies operating illegally a scenario that will see members of the public being duped in fraudulent deals.
The Estate Agents Council has revealed that bogus real estate companies are stealing from those without proper knowledge when it comes to the processes involved when acquiring a property.
“Illegal and unregistered agents are stealing the hard-earned cash of unsuspecting Zimbabweans.”
The Estate Agents Council appeals to the public to always acquire property deals with registered entities to serve thier investments.
“As EAC, we are dedicated to informing the public about the importance of dealing with registered agents to protect their investment.”
