The Government has issued a statement barring all illegal sale of State Land by land barons across the country. Those found violating the laws will be prosecuted.
This comes after the mushrooming of land barons selling agriculture land / state land on a free will basis.
Government revealed this in a Press Statement by Hon Dr Anxious Masuka Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development.
“Those found occupying state land without authority will be prosecuted”
“Government will not regularise those that settle on State Land without without procedurally tenure documents.”
“The nation is being advised that Agriculture land is not for sale. Do not pay and do not allow anyone to charge you to access agriculture .”
” Land Applications should be made t Districts and Provincial Land Offices the where applicants should get waiting list numbers.
