Mashonaland Central division two side Mvurwi United had to be rescued by their super substitute Tadiwanashe “Jowa” Sithole who assisted in an equalizing goal against Centenary based Zambezi Valley this afternoon.
The hosting team Zambezi scored first in the 54th minute through a spectecular header by Benedict Raposa.
The introduction of Sithole in the 70 minute changed the whole game as under pressure Mvurwi United started to play better.
Sithole gave a through pass in the 78th minute to Beven Gondo who did not waste the chance and headed the ball at the back of the net there by eaqulizing.
Division two football has started after being banned for two years due to covid 19 pandemic and communities are now enjoying free matches.
