Harare – The Zim Cyber City US$500 million project is back on track as construction of roads, water and sewer pipes have been completed, Dr Paul Tungwarara has said.
“We are implementing the President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision. We have done roads, water works and laid down the sewer system,” Dr Tungwarara, the chairperson of Prevail Group of Companies told a press conference after touring the project site in Mt Hampden.
“The villas will have standards like the ones you see in Dubai. We are creating a mini-Dubai here in Zimbabwe,” Dr Tungwarara who is also Special advisor to President Mnangagwa added.
Foundations for at least 50 units are complete in the first phase of the project.
The 50 villas will be completed by March, 2025, Dr Tungwarara said.
